Trendy Treats
Dessert displays sure have come a long way from a table full of glass jars filled with coordinating candy! We’re seeing more creativity than ever when it comes to dessert displays, including everything from candy kabob, whoopie pies, chocolate covered oreo etc. As a confectioner, I am always looking out for what’s trending in the world of sweet treats, and today I’m sharing some of my favorite desserts for you to incorporate into your own treat table!
Chocolate Dipped Oreos
The world’s favorite cookie just got better! Oreos come with a variety of fillings including mint, strawberry ice cream and chocolate. When covered in chocolate melt and topped with color coordinating sprinkles, cookie crunch and/or white chocolate drizzle or special design, the combinations of goodness are endless.
Chocolate Dipped Marshmallows
Marshmallows are an inexpensive dessert that pack a big punch! In addition to the classic white, marshmallows now come in chocolate and strawberry. Choose your favorite flavor, and dip in chocolate and sprinkles to make these gooey treats extra tasty.
Chocolate Covered Pretzel
Chocolate-Dipped Pretzels are easy to make, and the combination of sweet chocolate and salty, crunchy pretzels is fantastic. You can use any pretzels you want, they are absolutely great as gifts also.
Let Me Introduce You To My Cupcakes!!!
Two weeks ago, I had to work on some cupcakes for my cousin's BFF, then the unbelievable happened. While getting my work out on in the gym, I hurt my foot on the treadmill the Friday before the party, smh (by the way am still recovering from my little mishap). I know I could not have cancelled this order, because I had already committed to this project. But by the grace of God I got them done, Yayyy!!!! Like I said before I love doing what I do, and am serious about craft. Below are some pictures of the cupcakes and how they turned out. Along with those, I did some cupcakes for my neighbor's daughter and her friends to take to Disney On Ice as a birthday treat, those are the ones with the sixlets on top, both turned out yummy. I'm still a work in progress!! 💕🍥

If you are interested in any of my goodies, feel free to contact me. As a new comer to the business, I labor tirelessly to produce nothing but the best. I would greatly appreciate any comments and feed backs you have to offer.
How It All Began
Several months ago, while helping out my friend Rhonda (Rizzah's Design) with my BFF's baby shower, I had an awakening! My passion was staring me smack dab in my face. Oh my! It was unbelievable how much excitement and enjoyment I got from just helping out for this event. Ideas were flowing like a river, and yours truly was busier than the energizer bunny on his best day. Boy was I in my element! At the end of it all, we received such awesome compliments, it was a bit overwhelming, can I say this was a BEAUTIFUL shower! I once heard this quote that stayed with me " Do what you love, and you wouldn't have to work a day in your life". I always knew that I had a passion for creating and working with my hands, so this was quite a welcome reminder. For as long as I can remember, some of my happiest and most fulfilling times were when involved in planning or decorating for an event. However, what I came to realize at the age of thirty, as a result of that whole experienced, I was finally convinced of my calling, and life's work. So, I am on the journey to get my confectionery and event planning business off the ground. God knows it might be a tuff one, but with His help and my determination, I am up to the challenge and will make!!! I am ready!!!
